Thanks Rene, I'm glad you mentioned co2, I had thought about it as I was walking my bike out and then it slipped my mind. Good to hear that is a feasible trailside (or shop) option. As far as PL23 tubeless compatibility I've read that they were designed with that in mind (*https://groups.google.com/* forum/m/#!topic/650b/8xC7RjxiVOM <https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!topic/650b/8xC7RjxiVOM>) but nothing more authoritative than the thread. They do have a pretty pronounced 'hook', though my own experience yesterday would suggest not enough!
