Sharp bike! Canti Roms are prized for their fender-able clearance. I have 28mm, 32mm, and 35mm Paselas that I switch out on the Romulus. I run the 28s with fenders, and the 35s just proved their mettle off road in Chino Hills with David and And, and I've been riding them on my "roadie" route on PCH since then. They are revelatory for the Rom. As cushy as my 650B CdlVs on the road and quite capable on fire roads. I don't know if I'll take them off!
For me, the difference in appearance and rolling quality between the 28s and 32s are negligible - the 32s are *far* less uncomfortable, though. And that bike is just asking for the 35s! With fenders. Congrats on the bike. Esteban San Diego, Calif.
