I crashed last week. There was a slight rustling from the back of the bike, like a leaf or something brushing the wheel. I looked down to check it out, then when I looked up again I was heading for the kerb! I had enough time to think "idiot, you know this road has a curve in it, you ride it every day, never do that again!" I remember thinking the ground looked a long way down. Then bang, crack, expletive! I got up and checked myself over - no damage to me or the bike. And the rustling noise?
