Adding another data point. I changed from an 8 cm stem with Noodles to 11 cm with Albas on my Sam. If anything I could have gone shorter with the drops and maybe a bit longer with the Albas. I have the bars a litle loser now to sort of compensate. Like others have said, it matters much less with the more upright and swayed back position of the Albas. Enjoy.
