Hello Deacon, Very nice ride report and beautiful pictures from the ride. Don't you find the mustache bars to be great for road/gravel road/light trail riding? I have them on my Salsa Casseroll and I'm finding them to be the cat's meow for road/gravel road riding. I especially like the forward curves, they remind me of the hand position on a straight mountain bike bar. The only thing different from your set up is that I have inverse brake levers. I also like the open feeling that the flared ends provide when climbing.
