Tim I think your stressing yourself out about this purchase. Last year I was a mouse click away from buying a homer and at the last minute I opted for the Atlantis. A wise choice for me but you seem to be a homer boy. You already researched the gearing, go cheap and get the shutter. I built a son 28 wheel for my Atlantis and I think the shutter Dyno would have been good enough. Pull the trigger and be amazed
