Boeshield has great rust-preventive properties, so for storing any steel tools in a bike bag, it's great to wipe them down with Boeshield. It's not an oil, it's a wax in mineral spirits carrier, so it dries without being tacky. The bag is just to keep tools dry from life on the road.
