I have a 2x10 hard tail and I like it. This is coming from a guy who was holding onto 9sp rapid rise like the last drop of water on earth.
I don't think I'd like a 1x drivetrain because it takes many more clicks to dump a lot of gear on trails. On rolling terrain, I'm sure it's nice.
