Thanks Mark. The pictures and notes about your bike certainly helped me
make a decision! I am all about being willing to experiment, and if style
and practicality can go together, all the better. It did occur to me that
my bikes and my riding, though certainly practical, good exercise, a good
way to live, are also an attempt to recapture some semblance of fun and
simplicity, exploring more than worrying about going fast. I also have a
Brompton and there is a certain magic to it, being able to dodge and weave,
step off and on without thinking, in a way demonstrating to people that
there are possibilities they may not have have let themselves believe. And
certainly one of those possibilities is to actually have simple, good fun
on a bike, and at all ages. Never too late as they say... I am hoping the
Clementine will fit right into that philosophy and I have every reason to
believe it will.

I will try to post pictures once it's built, though it will be some time I
assume before it gets here. The parts I have are, if all works out, going
to be a great fit. It is always interesting to see how a bike works as it
is built up. It always seems the bike gets as much of a vote on what works
as we do so it will be interesting.

Anyway, thanks for the help, the great pictures and notes! Here's to great
riding and adventures...
