Ron Mc, When you say the Strada Biancas are notably faster than Barlow Pass, do you mean objectively measured to be faster? If so, what was your measurement method and what was the measured difference in speed? Or do you mean they were subjectively faster? Like "wow, these feel a lot faster", or "hey I used to ride this section in Gear X, and now I'm in Gear Y"?
