Nearly every ride we do, one or both of the lassies comments (unprompted) how much better the handling of the Clementines is compared with their old bikes. Our oldest, most tentative rider (next to my wife) headed into a loose dirt lot on the way home to practice tight turns. 2.1" Thunder Burts, inflated ridiculously low for their feather weight. She is getting much more confident in her turns and commented how much better the steering was today.
Treks are what they rode before. I suspect your daughter would delight in the difference a Clementine would make to her riding (and thus, so would you).
