The realization of just how much the old bikes were in the way of them delighting in riding is startling and makes pinching elsewhere to get them the Clementines that much sweeter. Now that the bike isn't a barrier to enjoying the ride, they are surging forward. We've now gotten Cleary Bikes for the two youngest (well, they get them come Easter), so they are learning on quality, with hand brakes rather than cheep clunky. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens there too! Grin.
