Patrick and all, I should also say again that this "charge and light at the same time" doesn't work for all lights. It does work for my Ixon Core lights and all the Cygolites I have tested. But before you buy a battery bank, test out your lights by plugging them into a wall charger while they are on to see if they remain lit.
