FWIW, throughout the country there are many framebuilders who simply are not a "big name" . They cater to a local and/or regional market. Some more detailed/fancy than others. Some less than $2k or even $1500. I personally don't care for lots of details or fancy paint jobs, it's all about the qualities of the frame which cannot be seen or measured in any way .
