3 flats in 22,000 miles is better than I do. I average about 1 per year, and ride 4,000-5,000 miles per year. Usually a rear, & I am perfectly content with that few problems. My best ever was a front that went 11,000 miles without flatting. It was fairly worn but not shot when I figured it had earned its keep.
By contrast, a pair of Soma C-lines went about 3,000-4,000 miles with a few flats (3? 4?). While they definitely were more comfortable, I'm back on Marathons. I'll trade some comfort for longer life & lots fewer flats. It's all about trade-offs. dougP On Friday, November 20, 2015 at 7:35:20 PM UTC-8, Mobile Bill wrote: > > It would be wrong to suggest that Marathons never flat.
