Without ever having ridden either, my dream bike is an older 56cm Atlantis
with the 44cm chainstays. My understanding is that they are longer now and
I prefer a shorter wheelbase, just for the type of riding I do. I know
from experience, that a 57cm top-tube, which I believe the 56 Atlantis has,
works very well for me. I'm afraid the new Appaloosa will be designed
with a really long toptube for pullback handlebars. I can handle up to
about 60cm but much more than that and I would be too stretched out.
