I'm afraid we're talking about different tags or shirts here. The only red thread on this shirt is holding on the buttons (and not all that well, but that's a separate issue :)). My shirt has two tags of which I'm aware. One is the red/white/blue MUSA tag, and it does not touch me when I'm wearing the shirt. The other is the "content tag" sewn onto (into?) the interior of the left side seam of the shirt's trunk. (Interestingly, onto the tag is stitched the "spare button", held on to the tag with red thread.) It is the content tag which I can feel when I'm wearing the shirt and which I'd like to remove.
It may be (and I would hope that it is) that the stitching holding the content tag onto the shirt is separate from shirt's structural stitching. But it sure doesn't look that way to me.
