As you know from previous conversations I love those Hon Solos with the 
woody stuff, but you are correct that the cranks are low-end boat anchors. 
Personally at this point I would ditch 'em and go with the appropriately 
retro-looking Pro 5 Vis. The paint, woody fenders and Brooks saddle keeps 
the look intact, IMO.
