Speaking of Wald, I was down at my favorite LBS a few months ago to buy a Wald bearing repair kit for the cheap one-piece crankset that was trashed on the grand-daughter's bike. The proprietor told me how much he liked Wald because they made products like that which no one else in the industry is making any more. And then he bemoaned the rumor he heard that they will soon be going out of business. Anyone else heard that kind of news?
