I mused about ideas like this a while ago. It would be fantastic to develop 
objective methods of observation and measuring the properties of frames. Then 
you could adjust the tubes, lengths and buts based on the properties that it 
gives you when mounted upon it. Like this material gives you AMOUNT of 
ATTRIBUTE when used on a TUBE PLCEMENT with TYPE OF BUT at LENGTH and under 
RIDER WEIGHT etc etc. I don't know if this type of wide range analysis is 
possible but it would push folks away from describing "stiffness" or 
"compliance" and towards describing objective response to stimuli.
