I've found the best way for I to tighten all the bolts, including the
hidden one, is zero grease, zero anything ! No loctite , nothin' . Clean
clean clean. This way I do not even need that *silly and not very good at
what it's supposed to do* "chainring bolt tool". Just tighten them ,
GOOD ! And they stay . . . like a nice doggie !
I used to always grease them or use boeshield or whatever and with those I
needed the "silly tool" ! More like a pita tool . . lol.
