If I were to go carless I'd likely have multiple ways of cargo handling ,
maybe a Surly trailer if needed . I eat all fruit so a typical haul may be
as much as 40-60 lbs. with bananas , melons and such. It seems to me the
best place for cargo on a single bike is front and very low. Many cargo
bikes I see carry it higher . This is the kind I'm speaking of .

I've seen many great designs from Europe. They really have cargo carrying
bikes down pat .

I assume you're not over tall Patrick ? This makes buying cargo bikes
easier. I've noticed most stock cargo bikes are often one size only .
Bilenky in Philly makes custom ones though , of all shapes and sizes !
