BenG , The RM013 angle is very slight , about 7 degrees. When I rode them they felt like regular drops, I never once even thought about the subtle flare. At the time, I had ridden in traditional drops , mostly Cinelli 66 deep drop bars for decades. If anything , they felt like a more anatomically "correct" drop bar. On the hoods it felt completely "normal" to me . In the drops using the brake levers it felt "normal" . The only reason I sold them is I discovered Albatross bars ! !
