Hi all, I'll be spending 18 days in Europe, based in Berlin. When I arrive this coming weekend, I intend to go to one of the big swap meets to try to get a bike. I'm not super picky, but I want the bike to fit me well enough to not hurt my neck or upper back during a day of riding. I typically ride Rivs that are 64-65 cm with less sloping top tube and 60-62 cm with 6 degree upsloping top tube. I expect that bikes will be smaller than ideal, so swept-back or mountainish or Euro-touring-style bars will be preferred.
Obviously, the swap meet may not pan out. I am willing to rent a bike or buy one there and sell it off when the trip is over. Does anyone have any leads on a way to make getting a bike easier? I have looked at Craigslist for Berlin. Riv content: we're planning a ramble from Prague to Dresden, and I'll bring my Riv luggage to attach to the bike and share the experience when I get back. It'll be a S72O. Thank you, Jim W. Berkeley, CA (temporarily) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
