I agree each and every ride on a Riv can be great. In Michigan, as a teacher,
I try to get on one each and every day of summer, winters can be long, hard,
and cold hence the XXL Moonlander but that is once the week at most.
Twice a week I take the Quickbeam to the local market store for grilling meat
and fruit only 5 miles round trip. Two mornings a week I take a quick 12 mile
loop around Spring Lake via the bike path between 1st and 2nd Breakfast. In the
evenings at least once a week I ride the Bombadil or "new" Atlantis to Lake
Michigan for a quick fresh water swim or to play in big waves if we get them;
15-30 miles round trip depending on route. Once a week a longer
exploration/tour ride to where ever the spirits move me generally 30-60 miles
on the Mark N. custom. Once every 2-3 years my wife will ride between 2-20
miles on the tandem to make me consider keeping it another year or two.
