My two Riv fixed gears have bb heights of about 10.3 inches with the skinny
tires on them, and I don't have any problem with cornering, probably because
I am simply a cautious cornerer. But I remember the old Diamond Back mtb
fixie I had, shod with 27" Big Apples, that had a 12" high bb and cornered
just wonderfully -- with the high bb I could dive into corners almost as
with a coaster.

I do remember, though, that when my '03 Riv, now a fixed commuter, was
dressed up as a gofast 1X10, how, with the same tires and same bb height, it
would just track through corners the way a meekly obedient wife immediately
answers her husbands commands (slap, slap, slap, ok, ok, sorry!) -- let's
say, impeccably. I also know that, on tight, winding singletrack, the DB and
even more my quicker handling Monocog 29er, that also has the 12" height,
seem a bit "tippy"; of course, I've never ridden the 23 mm tired Riv on such
singletrack.
