I've been tempted to purchase a quality telescoping "mini" but regularly use my "Joe Blow" floor pump for topping off. I use various full size frame pumps on the rare occasion that I have a flat on the road and don't find them difficult to use. I also own and use some less expensive minis and don't prefer them if I have to actually use them but in my mind, any pump is better than no pump. Live and learn I say.....get whatever makes you happiest.
