No offense, Matt outdoor weathering neglect is the only thing that will fuse a seatpost and seat tube by corrosion. Galvanic corrosion between aluminum and steel is a myth, and in fact, lithium in grease is great for steel in resisting corrosion, but Bad for aluminum. If you need something other than grease to get a grip on your seatpost, you're not going to destroy anything by doing it. Licensed professional corrosion engineer.
