Temperature dependent, Michael. Low 40s or warmer and I'm barefoot. I have
no idea what I wore on yesterday's ride, but it was 40-50 degrees, so I
presume I was barefoot. Yes, definately barefoot, as a carbon road rider at
a light couldn't stop staring at them but never said anything. Typical SS
thing of I would catch him on the hills, he could pedal faster than me on
the gentle flats, I tucked and equalled him on the steeper descents.

Pedals: VP Vice, pins removed on one side. I leave the pins in on the other
side for muddy and/or snow/ice. I'm sure it helps that I go barefoot all
the time, year round, unless the weather requires otherwise. When sitting I
pedal with my forefoot, when standing I pedal with my midfoot. I've also
taken to wearing shoes for at least some singletrack as I've ended up with
bloody flappers from roots and rocks.

With abandon,
Patrick
