Does anyone have, or know someone who has, silver (or tastefully anodized, for that matter) Sun M14As, or ME 14As, or RM 17s or other such road-ish, light mtb-sized rims? I just discovered my 2 remaining spare 559 Sun M14As are 28 hole, not 32. Damn!
Also: I've 2 pr Trek Matrix Mountain Aero, but all an ugly dark browny gray-ey color. LBS sez they can take a rim eraser and erase the brake tracks evenly; we'll see. Would love to find some 559 M14As or the single eyelet ME14As. Aside: 370-380 grams for the M14As, the Mountain Aeros, and just an OZ more for the ME14As; of which mine are actually 571/650C. I've used the M14As off road with no problems, and at least a couple of mine have tens of thousands of miles (no effete km) on at least 3 bikes. -- Resumes, LinkedIn profiles, bios, and letters that get interviews.
