We all know about Carbonomas forks. It's a divisive subject, but one where I believe Grant has put his money where his mouth is, essentially subsidizing people to take their carbon forks off the road. Love him or hate him for doing that...I'm talking about something completely different.
I own two 700C Rivendells that have cantilever brakes. Both those bikes have only fender eyelets below the fork tip, but not the second eyelet above the fork tip. The really cool Hub Area Rack needs to bolt to the one above the fork tip. It always makes me just a tiny bit sad that I don't have the super cool batwing fork tips with two braze ons. But now it looks like I CAN have what I want. For $125 I can buy a fork from Rivendell with the bat-wing tips! Only for 700c wheels, and only for cantilever brakes. I'm going to be doing some measurements tonight and might be ordering one (or two).
