All of the various designations for Rivendell bicycles are going to be a real headache for seller/buyer/collectors someday. We have production and custom Rivendells, plus a plethora of Riv bikes intended to be known by their own separate name, even though they're still Rivs. Then there's the Rivs with Protovelo decals which also may exist in some form with a different name. And, and...Resurrectio! Oy!
