I've eaten canned sardines once in my life. Back in the '70's a friend and
I took a bike tour from Miami to North Carolina. Somewhere in South
Carolina we were very hungry and finally came upon a country store. The
only thing there that looked like a meal was the sardines. At the time they
were delicious, I loved them. I've never had them since then and don't
really care to. It's definitely out of my comfort zoneā€¦but I lived too.
