With size 15 feet, choices are kinda limited. I have bespoke hiking boots and walking shoes (cobbler Dan Asay out of Bishop, CA), but for bicycling on platform shoes (now with velcro retention straps) I have found best results with Mizuno shot-putting shoes. Flat treadless soles, minimal rise around ankles, and combo lace-up and velcro closure. I found 'em on Amazon, would/will buy again. Just the right amount of stiffness that I can ride 80+ miles a day.
