Seller has this at the top of his eBay listing,

"Here, i have no idea of the age, when Nitto started production, There are
date codes on the vintage trek site, please stop insulting and calling me a
fraud because of the use of the word Vintage. if you have something to
add, please by all means , message me with the facts "

And yes I skip over his listings but there are times when I need a
particular thing and I want it to be just so and I pay for it when I find
it because I know it will be a long hard wait if I pass it over and I don't
have any sort of uber Amex card to fulfill. I agree, that stem could be
had readily for a lot less than he's asking. The good and the bad of eBay,
you can find things you're looking for, sometimes they're more than you
want to pay.

Speaking of which, I'm looking for a Campagnolo front track hub 32 h large
flange in reasonable condition. I'm about to give up and pay more for one
than I really want to. Fronts seem harder to find than rears for some
reason. Ken Wallace had a very nice Dura Ace laced to a French tubular rim
at the Tucson swap 2 weeks ago. The price was very right but I didn't need
another rear to try and match. Asa
