I use the Garmin Edge 500.Living in the no flat road zone it's fun to
check the altitude gain and like RJM said ..no sensors. They give you a
couple of mounts to use on multiple bikes and the computer is easy off
,easy on when switching to a different bike I will say the Heart Rate
monitor has been often discussed on the Garmin forum and I have tried two
versions of the HRM strap and both have inconsistent readings or no
readings at all and fortunately I bought them at REI and returned them
without any questions. Many users have cited polyester clothing flapping in
the breeze as the problem.I recently bought a MIO Link
http://www.rei.com/item/874581/mio-link-heart-rate-monitor wrist strap that
works well with the Garmin. Strapless HRMs are the new future.
