I use cheap Cateye computers. A wired Velo 9 (VL820) on my Riv, and an Urban Wireless (VT220W) on my KOM. They both work great, with all the basic functions. The Urban Wireless is just a wireless version of the Velo series; I don't know what makes it "urban". :)
Wireless computers have an extra battery to change (in the sending unit) compared to the wired ones. But, no wires.
