Yes, Eric. 5-8 hours of bike riding on mountain trails each of the three 
days, without food (I had it with me, just was never hungry). Usually, I 
eat once a day. Once you understand that our body has enough fat to power 
us easily for a long time (even if you're down to 5% body fat), and once 
you have your body trained to function and excel in fat burning mode (vs 
fat storing mode, which is triggered by eating carbs), then going for three 
days is not a big deal, though I've only done it a couple times as I'm 
usually perfectly happy to eat my meal a day when I'm out there (I eat two 
a day at home).

So a 8-10 hour ride without is really no big deal. Seriously. Google fat 
burning vs. storing and see what you get.
