My silver shifter becomes loose then I can't keep my front derailleur in high gear. Today I had to hold my left bar end shifter up while riding from Santa Monica to Silverlake. It was annoying and tiring. I've taken it in several times and the mechanic tightens it then it will last like that for 2 months and become loose again. Is there something wrong with this shifter? I don't have this problem with the right one.
