Getting into the conversation kind of late, but yea, what he said. Set up the Atlantis w/ light wheels and maybe drop some weight elsewhere (saddle, cranks, shifters, whatever) and see how you keep up w/ the buds. Still doesn't do it for you, then you have a bunch of lightweight parts that you could hang on a new Roadeo! Purchases are strung out over time, and maybe by then there will even be some used ones coming onto the market.
My mind is devious when it comes to justifying bike purchases.
