Interesting idea....at least for the average commuter looking for a 
(hopefully) cheap-ish commuter bike. Key thing being versatility. One thing 
I like in the video is how he says that most  bikes look like a 
frankenstein of parts. One thing I love about the Rivendell ecosystem is 
that it is a tight knit group of parts (nitto racks, sackville bags, wald 
baskets, newbaums bar tape, etc) that make it really easy to make an 
attractive looking and versatile bike. But outside of that Rivendell 
ecosystem, it doesn't seem to work very well and the frankenstein of parts 
rings true. I've tried to build riv-ish bikes with cheaper parts, doesn't 
look good. The downside to this project bike is that the parts all seem 
proprietary and 3d printed, potentially cheap quality.
