That's a good question, and I'm not sure what the answer is. On my Atlantis, I'm able to pedal pretty much until I just can't turn the wheels any more. With the Krampus, I certainly notice that the front wheel has less weight on it. On a steep hill on the Krampus, I have to work to make sure the front wheel tracks; I deliberately lean down and pull back on the handlebars. I'm not sure what I'm encountering when I stop in the middle of the steep section and feel like I can't ride any more. Certainly I'm breathing pretty darn hard. It feels like I just can't pedal any more, but it may be that it's just the front wheel not tracking.
