Build some wheels!  It's not that difficult, just requires a bit of
focus and patience the first go around, and the rewards are many.
Sheldon's site is a great place to start, and you can pick up a lot of
good tips in the archives of the various bike newsgroups.

If you've already been there, how about some adventurous cooking.
I've been enjoying Jeffrey Alford and Naomi Duquid's books "Mangoes &
Curry Leaves: Culinary Travels Through the Great Subcontinent" and
"Hot Sour Salty Sweet: A Culinary Journey Through Southeast Asia."
Great photos, excellent regional culinary geography and history, and
tasty recipes.  It'll get you out of the house, too, in search of some
odd ingredients and fresh produce at the farmer's market.
