Interesting, I have the exact same bikes. I've had the 56 cm Rambouillet now for about 3 years (over 10,000 miles) and I got the Roubaix about 3 weeks ago. While I love the Rambouillet as my go fast century bike, the Roubaix design has fascinated me for some time. At this point, I've only put about 250 miles on it (first century yesterday) and my initial impression is that it is comfortable compared to many bikes but not as shock absorbing as the Rambouillet. The century that I did yesterday in Indiana had a few miles of chip and seal and the Roubaix, while OK, was definitely not as shock absorbing as the Rambouillet. I run the same wheels (Mavic Kyserum) and tires ( 25 Conti's) on both bikes. Don't get me wrong, the Roubaix has many wonderful qualities but don't buy it simply because of the "winner over the cobbles" hype.
