I just don't think it's that hard. (start creaky voice) There was a time
when all bearing surfaces required the skill of setting bearing load with
the first wrench, then locking it with the second nut. You developed the
technique of opposing wrench force with BB's, hubs, headsets and pedals.
These days with cartridge bearings, it's pretty much a slap it in and go
installation.

I actually really like the act of setting up cup & cone bearings.  There's
something very satisfying with getting that tension just right and locking
it down.
