I recently replaced the CDLV's on my Bleriot after nearly two years of
service. No idea on mileage but I'd guess 2-3K(probably closer to
3...maybe more). The front is still fine...back is starting to square
and there is a 1-2 millimeter hole in the center of the tread. I've
had 6 flats, all back tire, the last 2 within a week of each other,
which prompted me to switch to Schwalbe Marathons. After 3 weeks of
riding on the Marathons I'm giving them an enthusiastic two thumbs
up. They feel firmer than the CDLV's (less mushy), they are slightly
fatter, they don't wobble, and they actually mount without having to
spend 30minutes trying to set the bead correctly. They do feel
heavier than the the CDLVs but I'm firmly in the "don't care about
weight... would rather ride, than fix flats camp".
