The wind description reminds me of a ride here about 2 months ago, right after a snowstorm. I rode up the St. Paul High Bridge (it had been plowed), which is a moderately steep and fairly long bridge, at about 17 mph feeling strong and ready for more. After a nice breakfast, i headed back down the bridge, into the wind, at 18 mph, in the drops and working hard.
