The notion of dynamo hubs powering electronic shifting is kind of intriguing. There may be some potential there. But the whole idea still strikes me as overly-complicated and unnecessary. I'm no racer, though, and maybe this would make a real difference in competition. Ultimately, to each his or her own, and whatever floats your boat, and all that jazz.
