Nice looking bike. That setup looks like it would work, but a shorter spindle would give you a lower Q and probably a better chain line. If you have a traditional bb, you could try a 107 spindle in it. OTOH, if it works for you.. why not just ride it. BTW, in going back to a double last year, I found a 48/34 gave me a better shifting pattern with plenty of high end gearing.
