I've been running Linux at home for 10 years, and I've never once
touched init.tab or smb.conf, and I doubt any home user would have to.
If you want to stay in the world of Apple //e, fine, I guess, but that's
a lot like staying with boneshakers.

Not that it matters, but here we currently have 2 computers, one
dual-booting between XP and Ubuntu, and one running SUSE.  The only
reason for XP is an audio-book download service my library provides that
requires Windows.
